Representatives from various departments actively participated, creating a strong and focused learning atmosphere on-site.

The training took place at the company’s training center. Senior instructors from the Yixing Red Cross Society, Zhang Nan and Shi Liting, tailored the sessions to the company’s specific production environment using a combination of theoretical instruction and hands-on simulation. Key emergency response skills were taught, including the procedure for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), bleeding control and wound dressing for common injuries, fracture immobilization techniques, and the Heimlich maneuver for choking incidents. The instructors clearly explained the concept of the “golden hour” in emergency rescue and its critical importance. Using life-size mannequins, they guided employees through one-on-one practice to ensure accurate mastery of essential steps such as hand placement, pressure, frequency, and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

Employees showed great enthusiasm throughout the training, listening attentively and actively participating in all practice exercises. “I had only seen CPR on TV before and thought it was irrelevant to me. Now, after practicing it myself, I realize that every step is a matter of life and death. What we learned today is truly life-saving knowledge,” said a frontline production employee. Many participants echoed this sentiment, stating that the training was highly practical, significantly improved their emergency response capabilities, and gave them the confidence to assist others in critical moments.
